Make A Difference
We're all busy. We
all have other things to do. But it doesn't take much.
We can all take small actions that make a big difference! Here's what
you can do to help:

Read
about some of the issues facing Vancouver and other communities. |

Talk
with your neighbors. What are your concerns with livability in the
West End? What are their concerns? |

Let
us know your concerns or your ideas for solutions. |

Get
to know your Mayor
and city councilors, your MLA
and your MP.,
and let them know what your concerns are. |

WECAN
is one of many community groups. Go to a few meetings. Observe, join
or volunteer for a specific task or two. You don't have to do anything
full-time. Make some phone calls or promote one event. |

Adopt
a block. Be the person in your building or on your block who feeds
your neighbor's concerns to WECAN or other organizations, and who
shares WECAN info with the neighbors. |

Getting involved is
a direct route to addressing your complaints - and there's a bonus - by
getting involved, you'll get to know your neighbors and your neighborhood
in a whole new way.
